NYLA Temple No. 238
NYLA Temple No. 238 is a Prince Hall-affiliated Shriners temple (A.E.A.O.N.M.S.) located in the Oasis of Watertown, within the Desert of New York and Canada. We function as a fraternal organization that hosts social, charitable, and ceremonial events.
Activities & Events
- Annual Potentate Ball — Honoring the Illustrious Potentate and Past Potentates, held at venues in the Thousand Islands / Alexandria Bay–Watertown area (e.g., Bonnie Castle Resort & Marina).
- Boat Cruise — Associated cruise through Canada and the Thousand Islands. Tickets sold separately from the Potentate Ball.
- Community Events — Participation in Armed Forces Day parades and other public appearances throughout the region.
